Olga Alexander
Painter/ Photographer/Installation Artist
Olga Alexander's work blurs prevalent distinctions about space, architecture and landscape to investigate the physical and psychological impact they have in shaping our perceptions of the world we live in.
The work is abstract, non-linear and does not promote any one narrative, but is fueled by materials that when re-contextualized convey a sense of fragmentation and temporality.Ubiquitous material such as Plexiglas, photographs, paper and old sewing patterns are often used to connect with viewers who in turn, re-interpret the work in ways that makes sense to them.
